SOLD HORSES & Horses from our past...
"Zula" ("Neat Zula", JC #: J23440)
Zula was our first horse, and she was just the sweetest mare we've ever known. Zula grew old with Gil and I, and unfortunately, had to be put to rest in March of 2004. She is sadly missed...
Zula, (to left) shown when weaning her foal from her. She's out to enjoy some pasture and put her weight back on! To right, a photo taken at 18 years old. Not bad for an old gal...
"RIO" (Registered QH Barrel Racer)
Rio was our busy horse while he was here with us. Not only was he an excellent barrel racer, but he got to work on his lazy time here, too... as our "baby-sitter"! We would put the weaning foals out with him, and he watched over them like a surrogate Mom! He is just a true gentleman in every meaning of the word!
Rio is shown here with his new owner up, Laura Morrison of Nova Scotia... both doing what they love most! Go Rio!!
"LOLITA" (ApHC / IAHA mare)
Lolita was sold to Mary "Charley" Oldham of Louisville, KY. I had the opportunity to visit with them, and they are doing wonderfully together! Charley has a wonderful, supportive husband, Mark, and several dogs, cats, and other horses. Lolita is now being trained for Endurance Trail Riding, and is coming along nicely! Good Luck Charley and Lolita! Kick some butt for us!!
Lolita before she left for her new home. I interrupted her afternoon nap!
Lolita with "Charley" at her home in Kentucky. Looking good there, guys!
"ANGEL" (TB/ASB Pinto Mare)
Angel was our second foal out of our TB mare, Zula. She is a lovely dark bay Pinto filly that Jessica Soares of Tiverton, Rhode Island simply couldn't resist! Good luck to Jess and Angel!
Jessica and Angel "hitting it off" shortly before leaving on her trip to Rhode Island with Jess.

"JACKIE"
Jackie was our 26 year old Appaloosa mare that got us started in the business with her first foal, our 2000 colt, "JB Roman Tarbask". We liked what she gave us with him, so we kept doing it! The results were "Lolita", "Shadow", and "Peanut". Here's one photo of Jackie with Shadow. She gave birth to a beautiful Walkaloosa colt, "Dodger" on March 2, 2006, also.
"Chip"
Chip (a.k.a. "CQAF Tuffs Chippewa") is proudly owned by Barbara & Ron Bagley of Cambridge, ME. He is just the sweetest love-bug and he is trusted with their young children handling him! Chip won the Most Colorful at Halter class at the ApHC show in Skowhegan, ME this past August, beating out MANY other horses! He also came in 2nd of 4 in the Weanling Futurity class! Best of Luck with him, folks! Be good, Chip...
